At Rotary Camp we change lives! We provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to create, learn, and grow in safe and caring environments. When campers leave Rotary Camp at the end of a program, they not only leave with lifelong memories and friends, but they show more independence, as well a greater understanding of themselves and their abilities.
Meet David – “David is an energetic, outgoing young man that tends to like a lot of attention. He loves coming to Rotary Camp and meeting new friends and interacting with others kids with special needs. The counselors and staff create an atmosphere where kids are accepted for who they are. David’s favorite thing to do is playing basketball. Rotary Camp provides him with opportunities to try new things, like zip-lining.
At camp, the kids can be themselves, and as David’s Mom, I have full confidence that the staff always have David’s best interest at heart and I know that he is very well taken care of.” – Diana, David’s Mom
