What time is check in and check out?
OVERNIGHT CAMP: Check in for returning campers is on Sunday from 3-4PM. Check in for NEW, FIRST TIME campers is from 4-5PM. Check out is the following Saturday at 9:30AM.
DAY CAMP: Check in Monday through Friday is at 9AM if you are dropping your child off at CYN. Check out from CYN is at 4PM every day. We do offer Before and After Care at an additional cost for Day Camp if you need to drop off or pick up your camper outside of those times.
You will need a valid photo ID and be listed as a release person on your camper's registration in order to check out your camper.
What if my camper has medication?
Campers must have a completed health form returned to camp two weeks before their check in date. All medications must be given to the Health Officer in their original containers during check in. Prescribed medications must be clearly marked with the child's name, medication, and physician's name. Prescription medication can only be administered as directed on the bottle. For dosage changes, please bring a signed note from the physician describing the new dosage. Medication will be distributed at meal times and before lights out.
What if I need to pick up my child early?
We want to be as prepared as possible for your arrival. If you need to pick your camper up at a different time than our normal check out, please fill out a Camper Early Release Form. The Camper Early Release form will also be available at check in.
Can we set up a camp store account?
You can add money to your campers account at check in, or anytime during your campers stay, or before you get to camp by clicking the button below.
The store mainly has souvenirs, clothing, and ice cream. Campers will have the opportunity to go to the store at least once per week and on check in and out. No cash is accepted during the week. The store uses and account system. We typically recommend you add $20-$30 to the account per week of camp. We do not offer refunds. You can either spend the remaining balance during check out, donate the money to our annual campaign, which helps send kids to camp, or you can donate to our staff banquet at the end of summer. Any money left in the account after your campers last checkout will be donated accordingly.
What forms do I need to fill out before arrival?
The Health Form/Authorized Pick UP is the most important form we need for your camper. Please complete this form two weeks prior to your camper's check in day. Camp Y-Noah needs to have all the current medical and behavioral information about your camper before they arrive. We keep all forms confidential and share information only on a need to know basis to the staff. You can find the online health form HERE.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We serve three meals a day to our overnight campers as well as provide a hot lunch to our day campers. Specialty diets including vegetarian, gluten free, and many others can be accommodated for. Camp Y-Noah is also a NUT FREE facility! If your camper has any dietary needs, please note them on the health form. You can contact our Food Service Director, Kathy, with any specific questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Whether it's your camper's first time out at camp or you're trying a new program for the first time, we have several videos on our Youtube channel that can give you and your camper an idea of what a day or a week at CYN looks like. These are great to watch together!
