Akron Rotary Camp is pleased to offer an expansion of the summer day camp program- DayCamp+! Campers who participate will receive a minimum of five hours of intervention weekly from an intervention specialist, one hour with a Speech Therapist one hour weekly with an Occupational Therapist to address IEP goals or family tutoring/therapy objectives. DayCamp+ will provide services in addition to regular day camp programming to support social and experiential learning.
Upon completion of the campers' time in the ESY Program, campers and families will be provided with a progress report outlining achievement in DayCamp+, and a home program to support skill development outside of camp and school. DayCamp+ is another way for Akron Rotary Camp to support lifelong learning wherever we are! Campers age 6-21 are eligible to attend.
